Design-Build
With a strong focus on Design-Build projects since 1986, Hively has developed extensive experience and expertise in leading projects from start to finish. Our responsibilities typically include preparing concepts—often supported by 3D modeling—along with budgets, schematic designs, schedules, and construction documents. Throughout the design phase, we conduct constructability reviews, develop cost estimates, identify and refine value engineering opportunities, and prepare preliminary schedules. Our team is highly experienced in all preconstruction functions, including permit procurement, subcontractor and supplier prequalification, and competitive bidding. For more than two generations, we have built a team capable of managing, supervising, constructing, and closing out some of the region’s most complex, large-scale, and high-profile projects.
